Cl'i'Y OF SMHA N02HCA S.8TTlNG A HEARING
DA1'E FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
SrREE~S REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAya AND CURBS (SR-84-57).
THE CITY COuNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RE~OLVE hS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Super~ptendept of Streets w~ll f~le
a report of repal.r pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
H~ghways Code of tne state of Call.forn~a, relat~ng to the
con6truct~on of certa~n ~mprovemeI'ts to sl.dewalks and driveways
at 2501 to 2511 Wl.1Sfil.re Blvd., 463 23rd St., 218 25th St., 727

S~CTION 2. That pursuant to Sectl.on 5600 et seq. of said
code, the C1ty Council does hereby order and declare that on the
14th ddY of August, 1984, at 7:30 P.M., 1n the Counc~l Chambers
of the Cl. ty Hall, 1t Wl.ll hear and pass UpOI1 the report by the
Super~Dtendent of Streets of ti1.e cost of repair, together with
any obJ ect~on.s or protests, If aT':I, which may be ral.sed by any
property owner ll.able to be assessed for the cost of such repa~r
and any other ~0terested persops.

SECTION 3. That all protests or oD]ectiops must be ~n
wr~t~ng and f~led w~th the C~ty Clerk on or before the t~me set
for hearipg of protests ard objectlons.
SECTION 4. The super~ntepdent of 3treets is hereby
directed to mail notices, in the manner and form prescr~bed by
law, of the cost of repa~r apd of the adoptloD of th~s Resolutlon
to all persops ownlIlg real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repa~r program, wi10se names and addresses appear OIl
the last eq~allzed assessmert roll for the City taxes or as known
to tile C~ty Clerk.
3zcrrON 5. The Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the adopt~on
of thls resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be ~p full force and effect.
