are hereby author~zed to conduct a parade along the following
route:
The parade wl11 start ~n Santa Mon~ca at the Beach
Park1ng Lot located at tIle western terminus of Bay
Street ard proceed south, along the beach b~kepath from
Bay Street to Santa Mon~ca Clty 11m~ts.
SEcrrON 2.
Permlsslon to conduct the parade is granted
upon the followlng cundltlons:
A. Floats ar>d char~ots w~ll be brought to staglng area
prlor to 6:00 a.m. , Sunday, August 26, 1984.
B. ISKCON VillI prOVlde for clean-up of any anlmal feces
along tne parade route and pay $l50 prior to
obtalnlng permlt for street and parklng lot
sweeping.
C. lciKCON wll1 hlre the necessary number of pol~ce

off~cers, as reco(nIller>ded by the Santa Monica Police
Department for crowd and traff~c control along the
Santa Mon~ca port~on of the parade route.
D. Access to tne b~kepath at the beach parking lot w~ll
be opened apd closed at ISKCON's expense.
E. Tne evert shall be approved by the C~ty of Los
Angeles.
F. ISKCON w~ll take all poss~ble steps to abate nO~Se.
SBCT10N 3. '.l'he Cl.ty Clerk shall certl.fy to the adopt~on
of thl.s resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be 1n full force clnd effect.
