RESOLUTION NO. 6896(CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING EPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-84-58)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Superlntendent of Streets wlll file
a report of repair pursuant to Sectlon 5617 of the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of Callfornia, relating to the
construction of certaln improvements to sidewalks and drlveways
at 1414 San Vlcente, 1604 San Vlcente, 1526 San Vlcente, 211 San
Vicente, 2617 Washington, 266 21st Place, 229 San Vicente, 404
San Vlcente, 225 San Vlcente, 621 San Vicente, 537 San Vlcente,
527 San Vlcente, 305 San Vicente, 521 San Vlcente, 630 San
Vicente, 326 San Vicente, 416 San Vicente, 515 San Vicente, and
511 San V1cente, all with1n the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. That pursuant to Sect10n 5600 et seq. of said
code, the Clty Council does hereby order and declare that on the
11th day of September, 1984, at 7:30 P.M., 1n the Council
Chambers of the C1ty Hall, it wlll hear and pass upon the report
by the Superintendent of Streets of the cost of repa1r, together
wlth any objections or protests, if any, which may be ralsed by
any property owner llable to be assessed for the cost of such
repair and any other interested persons.

SECTION 3. That all protests or objections must be in
wrlting and flled wlth the Clty Clerk on or before the time set
for hearing of protests and objections.
SECTION 4.
The Superintendent of Streets is hereby
dIrected to mail notices, in the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repalr and of the adoptlon of this Resolution
to all persons ownIng real property affected by the s1dewalk
aSsessment repair program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalized assessment roll for the City taxes or as known
to the City Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certIfy to the adoption
of thIS resolutIon and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
