RESOLUTION NO. 6897(CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA ESTABLISHING A
PHYSICALLY HANDICAP ZONE ADJACENT
TO 1622 BERKELEY STREET
WHEREAS, the C1ty Counc1l of Santa Monica has enacted
an ord1nance enabling ind1v1duals to request parking zones for
physically hand1capped persons; and
WHEREAS,
the C1ty has received a request for a
phys1cally hand1cap zone; and
WHEREAS, the C1ty Park1ng and Traffic Engineer has
cons1dered the request and concluded, based upon the factors
stated 1n the ordinance, that a phys1cally hand1cap zone may be
installed at the requested location,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
A
Physically handicap zone is hereby
established on the west side of Berkeley Street adjacent to 1622
Berkeley Street.
SECTION 2.
The C1ty Clerk shall cert1fy to the
adoption of this Resolut1on, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
