RESOLUTION NO. 7226(CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
Clry OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A HEARING
DATE FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO
THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF
STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS,
DRIVEWAYS AND CURBS (SR-86-83)
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Super l.ntendent of Streets wi 11 file a
report of repair pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and
H1ghways Code of the State of Call.fornla, relating to the
construct ion of certain lmprovements to sidewalkS and dr1 veways
at 2301 Pearl Street, 2929 Delaware Avenue, 3064 Delaware Avenue,
2834 Delaware Avenue, 239 and 243 Bay Street, 1214 Pacific
Street, 2641 32nd Street, 2628 32nd Street, 2612 32nd Street,
2812 Arlzona Avenue, 2627 Arlzona Avenue, 2803 Ar1zona Avenue,
282~ Arizona Avenue, 2515 32nd Street, and 2632 32nd Street, all
within the City of Santa Honlca.
SECTION 2,
Pursuant to Section 5600 et seq. of sa id
code, the City Council does hereby order and declare that on the
8th day of July, 1986, at 7: 30 P. M., in the Council Chambers of
the Clty Hall, it will hear and pass upon the report by the
Super intendent of Streets of the cost of repa ir, together with
any obJections or protests, If any, wh~ch may be ra~sed by any
property owner llable to be assessed for the cost of such repalr
and any other interested persons.

SECTION 3. All protests or objections must be 1n writ1ng
and filed with the City Clerk on or before the time set for
hearing of protests and obJectlons.
SECTION 4.
The Superlntendent of Streets is hereby
directed to mail notices, in the manner and form prescribed by
law, of the cost of repalr and of the adoption of this Resolution
to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk
assessment repalr program, whose names and addresses appear on
the last equalized assessment roll for the City taxes or as known
to the Clty Clerk.
SECTION 5. The City Clerk shall certify to the adopting
of this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
he in full force and effect.
