A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
INITIATING PROCEEDINGS TO CONSIDER
AMENDMENTS TO PROGRAM 12 OF THE
HOUSING ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN
WHEREAS, the Planning Commisslon of the City of Santa Monica
has requested the City Councll to lnltlate proceedings to
consider amendments to Program 12 of the Houslng Element of the
General Plan,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Clty Council authorizes the Planning
Commisslon to lnltiate proceedlngs to conslder amendments to
Program 12 of the Houslng Element of the General Plan.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certlfy to the adoptlon of
thiS Resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall he
in full force and effect.
