A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE AND
RECORDATION OF AN EASEMENT FOR SIDEWALK
PURPOSES AT 2901-2905 MAIN STREET,
IN THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
In conjunction with development of real
property located in the City of Santa Monica ("Cityl1), Santa
Monica Municipal Code section 7164 requires property owners to
provide certain public street and access improvements, including,
but not limited to, curbs, sidewalks, and intersection ramps, and
to dedicate rights of way in favor of city to accommodate such
public improvements.
SECTION 2. The required pUblic improvements and rights of
way thereto are deemed necessary to assure availability of proper
access and to prevent congestion and other hazards related to the
use and development of 2901-2905 Main Street, Santa Monica,
California (lithe subject property") .
SECTION 3 .
The subject property must comply with the
development conditions and requirements set forth in Santa Monica
Municipal Code Section 7164.

SECTION 4. Rose Levin and Ann Levin, as the owners of the
subject property have executed a grant deed granting to city an
easement for sidewalk purposes over that portion of the subject
property more fully described in the legal description and
drawings attached to said grant deed as Exhibit "A. n A copy of
said grant deed and Exhibit A thereto is on file in the City
Engineer's office, City Hall, Santa Monica, California.
SECTION 5. The grant of such easement by the owners of the
subj ect property is hereby approved and the city Manager is
authorized to accept such easement and record the grant deed with
the Los Angeles County Recorder's Office.
SECTION 6. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
