AND AUTHORIZING DIRECT
ABATEMENT OF WEEDS.
COUNCIL OF THE CITY
FORHAL BID PROCEDURE
NEGOTIATION FOR THE
WHEREAS, the Clty Councll has determined that weed
abatement serVlces may be obtalned wlthout advertlslng for blds
because to do so would be to no avall and would cause unnecessary
expense and delay.
Nm'l, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
~ONICA RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
SECTIOK 1.
That the purchase of weed abatement serVlces
may be purchased under more favorable Clrcuffistances.
SECTIOi-J 2.
The Clty ~Idnager lS hereby authorized to
negotlate ln the open market for the procurement of weed abate-
ment services for the General SerVlce Department for the perlod
of May through August, 1986.
SECTION 3.
The Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the adoptlon
of thls resolutlon and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be ln full force and effect.
