THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA HONICA )OES
RSS8LVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECT=ON 1. I~ conJu~ctlon with the construction of an
on-ramp at Fourth Street and OlY~PlC Boulevard at the Westbound
Santa MonIca Freeway. The City of Santa Monica reqUIres an
ac~ess road to be provIded to tne SaDta t~onlca-Mallbu UnIfied
School District's Santa ~1onlca YIgh School canpus and to dedIcate
rights-of-way In favor of the CIty to accon~odate such publiC
Improve~ent.
SECTION 2. The required )ubllC Improvement and
rlg~ts-of-way thereto are deened ~ecessary to assure avaIlabIlIty
of proper access and to prevent co~gestlon and other hazards
related to the use of the proposed ~ourth Street on-ramp.
SECTION 3. The Sa1ta Mon~ca-Mallbu UnIfied School
DlstrlctJ a Callfor~la CorporatlonJ as the OWDer of the subject
property has executed a grant deed grantlng to t~e CIty an
easenent f8r stree~ a~d ~tIllty purposes over that portion of the
subject pr8perty more f~lly descrIbed In the legal descrlptio1
a~d draWIngs attached to said grant deed as Exhibit "A~. A copy
of saId grant deed and ExhIbIt A thereto 1S on fIle In the CIty
Eng11eer's offlceJ CIty ~allJ Santa MonIca, Callforn~3.

SECTION 4. The grant of s~ch ease~ent by the owner of
the subject property IS hereby approved a~d tie C1ty Ma~ager 1S
authorIzed to accept such ease8ent and record the grant deed w1th
the Los A~geles County Recorder's offlce.

adoptIon of thlS Resolut1on and the~ceforth a~d thereafter the
