RESOLUTION NO. 8906

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A FUND TRANSFER AGREEMENT FOR PROPOSITION 116
FUNDS FOR THE BROADWAY BICYCLE LANE PROJECT
WHEREAS, on December 13, 1994 the Santa Monica City
Council adopted the Bicycle Master Plan and certified the related
Environmental Impact Report, which included a Class II bicycle lane
on Broadway from Lincoln Boulevard to 26th Streeti and
WHEREAS, the City has been awarded a Proposition 116 grant by
the California Transportation Commission to implement the Class II
bicycle lane on Broadway; and
WHEREAS, the city has received the Fund Transfer
Agreement (No. P116B-2-19) which constitutes the final step in the
allocation of funds for this project,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
The City Council of the city of Santa Monica
hereby authorizes the City Manager, or his designee, to execute
Fund Transfer Agreement No. Pl16B-2-19.

SECTION 1.
The City council of the City of Santa Monica
hereby authorizes the City Manager, or his designee, to execute
Fund Transfer Agreement No. P116B-2-19.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
