A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE AND
RECORDATION OF AN EASEMENT FOR UTILITY
PURPOSES AT 100 OCEAN PARK BOULEVARD
IN THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
In conjunction with development of real
property located in the City 0 f Santa Monica ( " City"), Santa
Monica Municipal Code Section 7164 requires property owners to
provide certain public improvements and to dedicate rights of way
in favor of City to accommodate such public improvements.
SECTION 2. The required public improvements and rights of
way thereto are deemed necessary to assure availability of proper
access and to prevent congestion and other hazards related to the
use and development of 100 Ocean Park Boulevard, Santa Monica,
California (ltthe subject propertylt) .
SECTION 3.
The sUbject property must comply with the
development conditions and requirements set forth in Santa Monica
Municipal Code Section 7164.

SECTION 4.
Dominion Sea-Colony III Company, a California
.
general partnership, as the owner of the subj ect property has
executed a grant deed granting to City an easement for utility
purposes over that portion of the subject property more fully
described in the legal description and drawing attached to said
grant deed as Exhibit "A." A copy of said grant deed and Drawing
No. 4344 is on file in the City Engineer's office, city Hall,
Santa Monica, California.
SECTION 5. The grant of such easement by the owner of the
subject property is hereby approved and the city Manager is
authorized to accept such easement and record the grant deed with
the Los Angeles County Recorder's Office.
SECTION 6. The city Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
