A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT THE TRANSFER OF THE
EASEMENT FOR THE STORM DRAIN LOCATED IN THE SITE OF THE PROPOSED
PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING
WHEREAS, the City of Santa MOnica ("City") has received a copy of a DIrector's deed
from the State of Callforma ("State") releaSing and qUitclaIming Its mterest In a storm
drain easement located In the site of the proposed public safety bUlldmg, and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that It IS In the best mterest of the City to accept
the said Director's deed from the State and accept the transfer of the easement,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1 The transfer of the storm drain Included In Exhibit A IS authOrized
SECTION 2 The City Manager IS authOrized to execute a Certificate of
Acceptance and such other documents that may be reqUired to transfer the said storm
dram from the State to the City
SECTION 3 The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and
thenceforth and thereafter, the same shall be m full force and effect
