A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA REVISING CURRENT
FEES AND SETTING NEW FEES FOR SERVICES
PROVIDED BY THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK
WHEREAS, the Office of the C~ty Clerk recently
completed an analys~s of all user fees charged by the department
for the purposes of updating fee amounts and thereby preserving
the public f1nanc~ng resources; and
WHEREAS, it was determ1ned that in many cases, the
fees charged by the C~ty do not reflect full costs incurred 1n
the prov~s~on of related services; and
WHEREAS, ~t ~s the policy of the City of Santa Mon1ca
to charge for the full costs of these serv1ces provided by City
staff when such serv~ces benefit individual users rather than
members of the commun~ty as a whole.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Resolution Number 4889(CCS) 1S hereby
rescinded in its entirety.
SECTION 2. All fees of the Office of the City Clerk
are deta~led ~n Attachment A to th1s resolut~on

SECTION 3
Upon adoption of thlS resolution, the
fees set forth ln thlS resolutlon shall be ln effect.
SECTION 4. The Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the
adoptlon of this resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be In full force and effect.
