R-9012 e e RESOLUTION NUMBER 9012 (CITY COUNCIL SERIES) A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCE.J OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE ON MAY 14, 1996, FOR ANY PROTESTS OR OBJECTIONS TO THE REPORT OF THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS REGARDING REPAIR OF SIDEWALKS, DRIVEWAYS, CURBS AND THE REMOVAL OF DAMAGED PAVEMENT IN PARKWAY AREA (SR-96-193) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1 The Superlntendent of Streets wlll flle a report of work completed pursuant to Section 5617 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of Cal~fornia, relatlng to improvements to sldewalks, drlveways, curbs and parkway pavlngs at 1027 12TH STREET, 1225 15TH STREET, 918 16':'H STREET, 211 17TH STREET, 2201 21ST STREET, 2405 21ST STREET, 2642 31ST STREET, 2431 32ND STREET, 2508 32ND STREET, 2803 ARIZONA AVENUE, 421 ASHLAND AVENUE, 423 ASHLAND AVENUE, 702 ASHLAND AVENUE, 706 ASHLAND AVENUE, 2449 CALIFORNIA AVENUE, 822 CEDAR STREET, 2216 DELAWARE AVENUE, 1033 GRANT STREET, 1110 GRANT STREET, 1121 GRANT STREET, 2116 LA MESA DR, 203 MONTANA AVENUE, 1718 ROBSON AVE, 1724 ROBSON AVE, 2111 SANTA MONICA BOULEVARD, 1815 TENTH ST, 1819 TENTH ST, 1855 TENTH ST, 1863 TENTH ST, 960 THIRD STREET, all wlthln the Clty of Santa Monlca e e SECTION 2. Pursuant to Sectlon 5600 et sea. of sa~d Code, the City Councll does hereby order and declare that on the 14th day of May, 1996, at 6.30 p.m , ln the City Council Chambers of Clty Hall, 1685 Main Street, Santa Monica, it will hear and pass upon the report by the Superlntendent of Streets of the cost of repa1rs, together wlth Ob]ectlons or protests, if any, WhlCh may be raised by any property owner liable to be assessed for the cost of such repairs and any other lnterested persons SECTION 3. All protests or obj ect~ons must be ~n wrltlng and flIed with the City Clerk on or before the tlme set for the hear~ng of the protests and Ob]ectlons. SECTION 4. The Superlntendent cf Streets lS hereby directed to mall notlces, ln the manner and form prescrlbed by law, of the costs of repalr and of the adoptlon of thlS Resolutlon to all persons owning real property affected by the sidewalk assessment repalr program, whose names and addresses appear on the last equalized assessment roll for the City taxes or as known to the City Clerk. SECTION 5. The Clty Clerk shall certify to the adoptlon of this Resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be ~n full force and effect.
