RESOLUTION NO. 9037

A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DIRECTING THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO INITIATE
A TEXT AMENDMENT OF THE COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE
AND ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
REGARDING DEMOLITION PERMITS
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Santa Monica Municipal Code section
9.04.20.16.020, the City Council does hereby give notice of its
intention to direct the Planning Commission to initiate a text
amendment to Zoning Ordinance Section 9.04.10.16.010 regarding
demolition permits, as described in Attachment A.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of

this Resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be
in full force and effect.
