A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA ESTABLISHING THE
GANN APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 1996-97
WHEREAS,
the City Councll ~s required under the
provisions of Government Code Section 7910 and Artlcle XIIIB of
the California Constltution to establish its appropriations limlt
by resolution; and
WHEREAS, documentation used in the determination of the
approprlations l~mit has been avallable to the public for flfteen
days prlor to thlS meeting as required by Government Code Section
7910
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS;
SECTION 1.
For purposes of Artlcle XIIIB of the
Californla Constltution, the City of Santa Monica approprlations
llmit for the flscal year 1996-97 shall be $100,246,886.

SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adopt~on
of the Resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
