A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA ESTABLISHING NEW
CLASSIFlCA TrONS AND ADOPTING SALARY RATES
FOR ACCOUNTANT - COLLECTIONS, COMMUNITY
RELA TIONS SPECIALIST, DEPUTY CITY CLERK,
NOISE OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN, POLICE OFFICER
TRAINEE (PRE-SERVICE), SENIOR ADMINISTRATIVE
ANALYST - ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, SENIOR BUILDING
INSPECTOR, SENIOR TRANSIT PROGRAMS ANALYST,
SOLID WASTE COLLECTIONS SUPERINTENDENT,
SOLID WASTE MATERIALS RECOVERY SUPERINTENDENT,
SOLID WASTE SYSTEMS SUPERINTENDENT,
AND MOTOR COACH OPERATOR - TRAINEE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following monthly salary levels are hereby established,
effectIVe July 1, 1996, for the indIcated permanent classIfIcatIons:
ACCOUNTANT - COLLECTIONS
$4, 112/Month E-Step

COMMUNITY RELATIONS SPECIALIST
$3,391/Month E-Step

SECTION 2. The follOWing monthly salary level is hereby established for
the indicated temporary claSSificatIOn effective July 1, 1 996:
MOTOR COACH OPERATOR - TRAINEE
$7.00/hr. A-Step
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution, and
thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be In full force and effect.
