A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'lY OF SANTA
MONICA APPROVING AND RATIFYING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDER-
STANDING WITH THE SANTA MONICA POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS, Section 2.06 of Ordinance 801 (CCS) of the City of Santa Monica
requires the preparation of a written memorandum of understanding between
the administration and recognized employee organizations if an agreement can
be reached; and
WHEREAS, Section 2.06 of Ordinance 801 (eCS) of the City of Santa Monica
further provides that any such memorandum of understanding shall not be
binding unless or until approved by the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby approve and ratify that
memorandum of understanding executed by the City Manager
and the representative of the Santa Monica Police Officers
Association on the 8th day of May, 1974, a copy of which is
attached hereto.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution
and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
