RESOLUTION NO. 4513 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA APPROVING THE BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1974-1975, AS AMENDED
WHEREAS, the proposed budget for the fiscal year
1974-1975 was submitted to the City Council 35 days prior to
July 1, 1974; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on
said budget after a notice of said hearing was published not
less than ten days prior thereto, and
WHEREAS, after said public hearing, the City Council
considered further its proposed budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the budget for the fiscal year 1974-
1975 as submitted by City Manager James D. Williams and revised
by the City Council which budget is entitled "Budget of the
City of Santa Monica, California for the fiscal year 1974-
1975 submitted by James D. Williams, City Hanager," a copy
of which budget is attached hereto, be and the same is hereby
approved and adopted; provided, however, that as to departmental
budgets, only the recapitulations of salaries and wages, supplies
and expense, and capital outlays of each departmental budget,
are adopted. Unless otherwise noted, the amounts and objects
recommended by the City Manager are those adopted by said City
Counc il.
SECTION 2. That a certified copy of said budget be
filed with the Director of Finance-City Controller and with the
City Clerk and certified copies of said budget be reproduced and
