A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA APPROVING
AND RATIFYING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING WITH EMPLOYEES IN TIlE
POSITION CLASSIFICATION OF LEGAL SECRETARY.
WHEREAS, Section 2.06 of Ordinance 801 (eCS) of the City of Santa Monica
requires the preparation of a written memorandum of understanding between
the administration and recognized employees if an agreement can be reached;
and
WHEREAS, Section 2.06 of Ordinance 801 (CCS) of the City of Santa Monica
further provides that any such memorandum of understanding shall not be
binding unless or until approved by the City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI'IY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council does hereby approve and ratify that memorandum
of understanding executed by the City Manager and the Legal
Secretaries on the 28th day of June, 1974, a copy of which is
attached hereto.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution
and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
