A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA APPROVING AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
A CONTRACT FOR SERVICES WITH BAY CITIES
ADJUSTMENT COMPANY, PERTAINING TO CLAIMS
ADJUSTING SERVICES
WHEREAS, BAY CITIES ADJUSTMENT COMPANY has provided
the CITY with adjusting services for a period of approximately
twenty two years; and,
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the CITY and of BAY
CITIES ADJUSTMENT COMPANY to increase the remuneration received
by BAY CITIES ADJUSTMENT COMPANY for the rendering of
adjusting services,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That BAY CITIES ADJUSTMENT COMPANY should
be remunerated in the sum of One Thousand Nine Hundred ($1,900)
Dollars per month for the rendering to the CITY of adjustment
services.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager be and is authorized
to execute an agreement on behalf of the CITY by and between
the CITY and BAY CITIES ADJUSTMENT COMPANY for the rendering
of adjustment services to the CITY.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 1st day of October
1974.
