A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA APPOINTING A REPRESENTATIVE TO SIT
ON THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE LOS ANGELES
COUNTY - WEST MOSQUITO ABA TEMENT DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Clty Council apphed to the Local Agency FormatlOn Commlssion
of the County of Los Angeles (hereinafter called LAFCO) for annexatlOn of the
Cl.ty of Santa Monica to the Los Angeles County-West MosqUIto Abatement Dl.strict
(hereinafter called District); and
WHEREAS, by Resoluhon 1974-29. LAFCO approved the annexation of the City of
Santa Monica to the DIStrict; and
WHEREAS, membership in the District mcludes the right to representation on the
District Board of Trustees;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the followmg named individual, Hilliard L. Lawson
is hereby appointed as the representative of the City of Santa Momca
to sit as a Trustee on the DIstrict Board of Trustees for a period of
two years commencing at the next regular meeting of the Board of
Trustees of the District, November 14, 1974.
SECTION Z. The City Clerk shall furnish a cernfied copy of this ResolutlOn to
the Secretary of the Los Angeles County-West Mosquito Abatement
Distnct, attention: Mr. Frank Small.
SECTION 3. The Clty Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resoluhon and
shall cause tms Resolution and his certif1cation to be entered in
the Book of Resolutions of the Council of the City of Santa Monica.
