A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA RATIFYING
THE COMPROMISE OF CLAIMS FOR THE CITY'S
PUBLIC LIABILITY
WHEREAS, on October 1, 1974, the Clty of Santa Monica
entered lnto an agreement, belng Contract No. 2138 (CCS) w~th
the Bay Cities AdJustment Company to adJust: (1) L~abl1ity
under the Pub11C Llability Act of 1923: (2) ~ts l~abllity
for the municipal bus l~nes; and (3) lts liability for lts
automotive fleet exclud~ng ltS munlclpal bus 1~nes; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to the author1ty contalned in
the foregoing contract, the Bay Citles AdJustment Company has
effected settlements in the amounts shown:
