A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA RATIFYING
THE COMPROMISE OF CLAIMS FOR THE CITY'S
PUBLIC LIABILITY
WHEREAS, on October 1, 1974, the Clty of Santa Monica
entered lnto an agreement, belng Contract No. 2138 (CCS) wlth
the Bay Citles AdJustment Company to adJust: (1) Llabllity
under the PubI1C Liabillty Act of 1923; (2) lts liability
for the municipal bus lines; and (3} its llabl11ty for its
automotive fleet excluding its munlcipal bus lines; and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority contained ln
the foregolng contract, the Bay Citles AdJustment Company has
effected settlements in the amounts shown:

amounts heretofore shown lS hereby ratlfled.
SECTION 3. The Clty Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of thlS resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
