A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
APPOINTING ELECTION OFFICERS AND DESIGNATING POLLING PLACES.
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica General Municipal Election
will be held April 8. 1975. and
WHEREAS, Section 22805 of the Elections Code of the State of
California provides that the governing body of the City shall appoint one
Inspector, one Judge and two Clerks as election officers for each precinct
for such Municipal Election who shall have charge of the election in and for
each regular or consolidated precinct for which they are appointed, and
WHEREAS, Polling Places also have to be designated;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL DOES RESOLVE AJ3 FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The following persons are appointed as election
off1cers to serve at the following designated Polling Places in the
precincts as established by Ordinance No. 981 (CC5).

SECTION 2. A canvassing board shall be appointed by the City Clerk
to process the absent voter ballots in his office on election day in accordance
with Elections Code Sections 18200 - 18240 and 22930.5.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be in full force
and effect.
