RESOLUTION NO. 4605 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA RATIFYING THE
COMPROMISE OF CLAIMS FOR THE CITY'S
PUBLIC LIABILITY.
WHEREAS, on October 1, 1974, the City of Santa Monlca
entered into an agreement, being Contract No. 2138 (CCS) with
the Bay Cities AdJustment Company to adjust: (1) liabillty
under the Public Liabillty Act of 1923; (2) its llabllity for
the munlclpal bus lines; and (3) its llabil1ty for lts automotive
fleet excluding its municlpal bus lines; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authorlty contained ln the
foregolng contract, the Bay Cities AdJustment Company has
effected settlements in the amount shown:

The City Clerk shall certl.fy to the
adopt~on of thl.S resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be ~n full force and effect.
