RESOLUTION NO. 4626 (CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA RESCINDING RESOLUTION NUMBER
4391 (CITY COUNCIL SERIES) AND AMENDING ITS POLIry
RELATING TO APPOINTMENTS TO "CHARTER" BOARDS AND
COMMISSIONS.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Resolution No. 4391 (City Council Series) is
hereby rescinded in its entirety.
SECTION 2: It shall be the policy of the City Council
that members of boards and commissions established by the City
Charter shall serve at the pleasure of the City Council not to
exceed two regular terms on each such board or commission.
SECTION 3: The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall
be in full force and effect.
