A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
APPOINTING HERBERT ~~TZ TO THE
PLANNING COMMISSION AND HELEN
E~mRSON TO THE RECREATION AND
PARKS eOMMISS ION.
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the Plannlng
Commlss1on; and,
WHEREAS, lt 15 the ~ntent of the City Council of the
C~ty of Santa Monlca to appolnt HERBERT KATZ to a term on the
Plannlng Commission; and,
WHEREAS, there eXlsts a vacancy on the Recreatlon
ComrnlSS1on; and,
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City Council of the
City of Santa Monica to appoint HELEN EMERSON to a term on the
Recreat~on Commisslon.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That HERBERT KATZ be and lS hereby
appointed to the Plannlng CO~isslon for a term to expire on
the 30th day of June, 1975, and untll his successor is chosen
and appolnted.
SECTION 2.
That HELEN EMERSON be and is hereby
appointed to the Recreation CommlSS1on for a term to expire on
the 30th day of June, 1976, and until her successor lS chosen
and appolnted.
SECTION 3.
The Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the
adoptlon of th15 resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
