A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA RATIFYING
THE COMPROMISE OF CLAIMS FOR THE
CITY'S PUBLIC LIABILITY.
WHEREAS, on October 1, 1974, the Clty of Santa Monica
entered lnto an agreement, being Contract No. 2138 (CCS) with
the Bay Clt~es AdJustment Company to adjust: (1) 1iab~11ty
under the Pub11C Liabl1~ty Act of 1923i
(2) lts 1~abl11ty
for the rnunlc~pal bus l~nesi and (3} ~ts 11abl1lty for ltS
automotlve fleet excluding its rnunlclpa1 bus l~nesi and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the author~ty contalned In the
foregolng contract, the Bay Cltles Adjustment Company has
effected settlements ln the amount shown:

amounts heretofore shown is hereby ratlfJ.ed.
SECTION 2.
The Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the
adoptlon of this resolut1.on, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
