A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA APPROVING THE BUDGET FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 1975-76, AS AMENDED.
WHEREAS, the proposed budget for the fiscal year
of 1975-76 was submltted to the City Councl1 35 days prior
to July 1, 1974; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearlng
on said budget after a notlce of sald hearlng was publlshed
not less than 10 days prior thereto; and,
WHEREAS, after said public hear~ng, the City Council
considered further lts proposed budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the budget for the fiscal year
1975-76 as submltted by City Manager James D. WilllaffiS and
revised by the c~ty Councl1 WhlCh budget is entitled "Budget
of the City of Santa Monica, Callfornia, for the fiscal year
1975-1976 submltted by James D. Wllliams, City Manager," a
copy of which budget ~s attached hereto, be and the same is
hereby approved and adopted; provided, however, that as to
departmental budgets, only the recapitu1atlons of salarles
and wages, supplies and expense, and capltal outlays of each
department budget, are adopted. Unless otherwise noted,
the amounts and objects recommended by the City Manager are
those adopted by said City Council.
SECTION 2. That a certified copy of said budget
be flIed with the Dlrector of F~nance-Clty Controller and wlth

the City Clerk and certlf~ed copies of sa~d budget be re-
produced and made aval1able for use as dlrected by S1505 of
the Charter of said City.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certlfy to the
adoption of this resolutlon and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
