A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA RATIFYING
THE CO~PROMISE OF CLAIMS FOR THE
CITY'S PUBLIC LIABILITY.
WHEREAS, on October 1, 1974, the City of Santa Monlca
entered lnto an agreement, belng Contract No. 2138 (CCS) w1th
the Bay C1tles Ad]ustment Company to adjust:
(1) llabihty
under the Pub1lc Llability Act of 1973:
(2) lts llablllty for
the munlclpal bus llnesi and (3) ltS llabi1ity for lts
automotive fleet excludlng its munlclpal bus llnes: and,
WHEREAS, pursuant to the author1ty contalned In the
foregoing contract, the Bay Cit1es Adjustment Company has
effected settleMents in the amount shown:

SECTION 2.
The City Clerk shall cert~fy to the
adoptlon of thlS resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
