A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA RmUESTING THE BOARD OF
SUPERVISORS OF LOS ANGET.li:R COUNTY TO APPRO-
PRIATE CERTAIN GASOLINE TAX FUNDS TO THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA (C-84 )
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS, the 1975-1976 County Budget Appropriation for
"Aid to Citiesll (Gasoline Tax) makes ava.ilable for appropriation
to the City of Santa Monica a total amount of the One Hundred 'lWenty-
Three Thousand Six Hundred Six Dollars ($123,606.00) for the
improvement of City streets of General County interest; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica is desirous of improving
certain streets on the City's Select System; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica feels that improving
said streets is of general County interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL DOES FURTHER RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Supervisors of Los Angeles
County be requested to allocate One Hundred TWenty Three Thousand
Six HWldred Six Dollars ($123,606.00) from the County "Aid to Cities"
Fund apportioned to the City of Santa Monica during the 1975-1976
fiscal year, for the following traffic signal improvements:
1. Fifteenth Street at Wilshire Boulevard (new)
2. Ocean Avenue at Broadway (new)
3. Ocean Avenue at Pica Boulevard (moderization)
4. Eleventh Street at Ocean Park Boulevard (modernization)
5. Fourteenth Street at Ocean Park Boulevard (modernization)
6. Eleventh Street at Pico Boulevard (modernization)
7. Fifth Street at Broadway (modernization)
8. Ocean Avenue at Colorado Avenue (modernization)

SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. That the City Engineer shall forward a certi-
fied copy of this resolution to the Los Angeles County Road Com-
missioner for processing.
