A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY com~CIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING THE
HOLDING OF A PARADE ON AUGUST 27, 1975,
ON A ROUTE OTHER THAN THE OFFICI;~ CITY
ROUTE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Sect~on 4241 of the Santa Mon~ca
Munlc~pal Code, the Clty Council May authorlze a parade route
dlZferent from the offlc~al Clty parade route set forth there1nj
and,
'iJHEREAS, good cause has been shown for the authorlzatlon
of such a parade route on August 27, 1975.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RLSOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That, on August 27, 1975, Mr. Ysidro
Reyes may and is hereby authorlzed to conduct a parade along the
fol1ow~ng route:
From St. Mon~ca's Church along 7th Street
to Wllshlre Boulevard, west to Ocean Avenue
to the Statue of St. I1onlca.
SECTION 2.
The C~ty Clerk shall cert~fy to the
adoption of tillS resolutlon and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be ln full force and effect.
