RESOLUTION NO. 4674 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA APPOINTING
PERSONS TO VARIOUS BOARDS AND
COMMISSIONS.
WHEREAS, the terms of certain ~embers of various
boards and commissions have expired; and,
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the C1ty Council of the
C1ty of Santa Mon1ca to appoint certain members to terms on said
boards and commissions.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAnTA
MONICA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That Edward Elton Gr1pp be and 1S hereby
appointed to the Architectural Review Board for a term
expiring on the 30th day of June, 1979.
SECTION 2.
That Dr. Yung-Ping Chen be and 1S hereby
appointed to the COmMission on Older Amer1cans as a nan-vot1ng
member for a term expiring on the 30th day of June, 1979.
SECTION 3.
That Dr. Richard Moore be and is hereby
appo1nted to the Comm1ssion on Older Americans for a term expir1ng
on the 30th day of June, 1979.
SECTION 4.
That Sharon Tob1n be and is hereby
appo1nted as a non-vot1ng member to the COrnrnlSS10n on Older
Amer1cans for an 1ndefinite term.
SECTION 5.
That Les Storrs be and 1S hereby appo1nted
to the Landmarks Cornmiss1on for a term exp1ring on the 30th day of
June, 1977.
SECTION 6.
That Frank Hotchk1SS be and 18 hereby
appointed to the P1ann1ng Comm1ss1on for a term exp1r1ng on the

30th day of June, 1979.
SECTION 7.
That Herb Katz be and 1S hereby reappointed
to the Planning Commission for a term exp1r1ng on the 30th day of
June, 1979.
SECTION 8.
That Pat Schneider be and is hereby
reappo1nted to the Planning Cornmiss1on for a term expl~ing on the
30th day of June, 1979.
SECTION 9.
That Sheila Bannan1 be and is hereby
appointed to the Citizens Advisory Committee for the General Plan
as a member thereof.
SECTION 10.
That Donald A. Brunson be and is hereby
appointed to the COmffi1SS10n on Older Americans for a term explr1ng
on the 30th day of June, 1979.
SECTION 11.
That each of said persons shall serve
unt11 the exp1ration of their term and until the1r respective
successors are appolnted and qualifled.
SECTION 12.
The Clty Clerk shall certlfy to t~e
adoptlon of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
