A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF S&~TA MONICA RATIFYING
THE COMPROMISE OF CLAIMS FOR THE
CITY'S PUBLIC LIABILITY.
WHEREAS, on October 1, 19741 the Clty of Santa Monica
entered lnto an agreement, belng Contract No. 2138 (CCS) wlth
the Bay Cltles AdJustment Company to adJust: (I) 11ab111ty
under the Publ1C Liabillty Act of 1923; (2) its 1iabllity for
the munlcipal bus llnes; and (3) lts liabillty for lts automotlve
fleet excluding its municipal bus lines; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authorlty contalned in the
foregolng contract, the Bay Cities Adjustment Company has
effected settlements ln the amount shown:
