A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA RATIFYING
THE COMPROMISE OF CLAIMS FOR THE
CITY'S PUBLIC LIABILITY.
WHEREAS, on October 1, 1974, the City of Santa Monica
entered into an agreement, be~ng Contract No. 2138 (CCS) with
the Bay Cities Adjustment Company to adjust: (1) liab~l~ty
under the Publ~c Liability Act of 1923; (2) ~ts l~ability for
the municipal bus lines; and (3) ~ts liabil~ty for its automot~ve
fleet exclud~ng its mun~cipal bus lines; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the author~ty contained in the
foregoing contract, the Bay Cities AdJustment Company has
effected settlements ~n the amount shown:
