RESOLUTION NO. 4693 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA ADOPTING A
SEISMIC ELEMENT OF THE MASTER PLAN
FOR THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA.
WHEREAS, the Cltizens' Advisory Committee has
consldered and approved the Seism1c Element of the Master
Plan for the Clty of Santa Monlca; and,
WHEREAS, the Plannlng Commission of the City of
Santa Manlca has consldered and approved the Selsmic Element
of the Master Plan for the City of Santa 1'10nlca; and,
WHEREAS, the Plannlng Commlss1on of the C1ty of
Santa MOnlca has transmltted the endorsed and approved
Seismlc Element of the Master Plan for the Clty of Santa
Monica to the Clty Councll of the City of Santa Monica;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Councl1 of the Clty of Santa
Monlca has held a public hearlng on the SelSffilC Element of
the Master Plan for the Clty of Santa Monica.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA 1>10NICA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
That the Se1smic Element of the
Master PIan for the City of Santa Monlca 1S hereby adopted.
SECTION 2.
The Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the
adoption of this resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shal1 be ln full force and effect.
