RESOLUTION NO. 4696 (ecs)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA ORDERING THE
VACATION OF A PORTION OF THAT CERTAIN
COURT KNOWN AS LINCOLN COURT FROM THE
SOUTHEASTERLY CITY BOUNDARY TO OZONE
AVENUE IN THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA~
CALIFORNIA.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Santa
Monica having heard the evidence offered in relation to the pro-
posed vacation of that certain alley known as Lincoln Court
between the southeasterly City boundary and Ozone Avenue~ as
shovm on the map of Tract No. 9326~ in the City of Santa Monica,
County of Los Angeles~ State of California~ recorded in Map
Book 124, Page 50, in the office of the Recorder of said County~
hereby finds from all of the evidence submitted that the alley
above referred to and proposed to be vacated and abandoned by
Resolution No. 4689 (City Council Series) is unnecessary for
present or prospective street purposes. For full particulars
reference hereby is made to said Resolution No. 4689 (City
Council Series) and to Map No. 4225 on file in the office of the
City Engineer of said City; which map is entitled, lIMap Showing
Portion of Lincoln Court to be vacated under the Provisions of
the Street Vacation Act of 194111, dated October 20, 1975.
The City Council of the City of Santa Monica, in
vacating said portion of said Lincoln Court, reserves and excepts
from said vacation an easement of full width over the full length
of said portion of said Court for the purpose of constructing~
maintaining, operating, replacing~ removing and renewing all
public utility facilities and appurtenant structures.

It therefore is ordered that said portion of said
alley be and the sa~e hereby is vacated.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adop-
tion of this resolution and the same shall be in full force and
effect on and after November 18,1975. The City Clerk shall
also cause a copy of this resolution to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of the County of Los Angeles.
