RESOLUTION NO. 4698 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DECLARING
ITSELF TO BE THE COMMISSIONERS OF
THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA.
WHEREAS, the Clty Councl1 of the City of Santa Monica
has prevlous1y resolved that there 1S a need for a Hous1ng
Authority 1n the City of Santa Monica; and,
WHEREAS, lt 15 the desire of the C1ty Counc11 that
the members thereof shall constitute the commlSS1oners of the
Houslng Authority.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1.
The C1ty Counc11 of the Clty of Santa
Monlca does hereby declare itself to be the commissioners of
the Hous1ng Author1ty of the City of Santa Mon1ca.
SECTION 2.
All the rlght5, powers, duties, prlvil-
eges and lmmunltles vested in the commlSSloners of the Hous1ng
Authorlty shall hereafter be vested in the City CounCl1 of the
City of Santa Mon1ca.
SECTION 3.
The C1ty Clerk shall certify to the
adoptlon of thlS resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be ln full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED thlS 18th day of November , 1975.
