A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA NONICA RATIFYING THE CDr.f-
PROMISE OF CLAIMS FOR THE CITY'S PUBLIC
LIABILITY.
HHEREAS, on October 1, 1974, the City of Santa !ionlca
entered into an agreement, being Control NO. 2138 (CCS) wlth
the Bay Clties AdJustment Company to adJust:
(1) liabil:L ty
under the Public Liabllity Act of 1923; (2) its llabillty for
the rnunlclpal bus lines; and (3) its llablllty for lts automo-
tive fleet excludlng its munlcipal bus Ilnesi and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authorlty contalned 1n the
foregolng contract, the Bay Clties AdJustment Company has
effected settlements 1n the amount shown:

amounts heretofore shown is hereby rat~f~ed.
SECTION 2.
That City Clerk shall cert~fy to the
adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 9th day of December , 1975.
