A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF Sfu~TA MONICA APPROVING
THE TERMS OF PURCHASE OF WOODLAWN
MAUSOLEUM, AND AUTHORIZING THE CLOS-
ING OF AN ESCROW THEREON, AND FURTHER
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE DOCUMENTS APPROPRIATE TO THE
CONSUMMATION OF SAID PURCHASE
WHEREAS, negot~at~ons have been entered into between
the City of Santa Mon~ca and Serv~ce Corporation International
for the purchase of Woodlawn Mausoleum Limited; and,
WHEREAS, these negot~ations have resulted ~n agree-
ment for the procedure to be util~zed for accomplishing such
purchase.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the c~ty Manager is author~zed to
enter ~nto and consummate an escrow for the transfer of the
assets of Woodlawn Mausoleum L~m~ted to the City of Santa
Mon~ca.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager is authorized to
execute any and all documents necessary to perfect such purchase.
SECTION 3. That the C~ty Council of the Clty of Santa
Monica does approve the terms and cond~tions of escrow estab-
lished for the purpose of consummating the purchase of Woodlawn
Mausoleum L~mlted assets, and does further author~ze that such
escrow be closed.
SECTION 4. The City Clerk shall cert~fy to the
adopt~on of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the

same shall be in full force and effect.
