RESOLUTION NO. 4707 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA ADOPTING
AN HOUSING ELRMENT OF THE MASTER
PLAN FOR THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA.
WHEREAS, the Cltlzen's Advlsory Comm~ttee has
prepared a draft Houslng Element of the Master Plan for the
Clty of Santa Monlca; and,
\~EREAS, the Plannlng Commlssion of the City of
Santa Mon~ca has held publlC hearlngs thereon, and has further
consldered and approved an Housing Element of the Master Plan
for the C~ty of Santa Mon~ca; and,
WHEREAS, the Plannlng Cornm~ssion of the C~ty of
Santa Mon~ca has transIDltted the endorsed and approved
Houslng Element of the Master Plan for the Clty of Santa Monlca
to the Clty Councl1 of the Clty of Santa Monica; and,
WHEREAS, the Clty Councll of the C~ty of Santa Mon~ca
has held a publlC hearlng on the Houslng Element of the Master
Plan for the Clty of Santa Monica; and,
WHEREAS, havlng taken public test~mony, cons~dered
the envlronmental ~mpact and approved a flnal Housing Element
therein.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Houslng Element of the Master
Plan for the Clty of Santa Monlca is hereby adopted.
SECTION 2. The Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the
adoptlon of thlS resolutlon, and thenceforth and thereafter

ADOPTED and APPROVED thlS 16th day of December,
1975.
