RESOLUTION NO. 4717 (CCS)

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA APPROVING AND RATIFYING A MEMORANDUM
OF UNDERSTANDING WITH RECOGNIZED GROUPS OF EMPLOYEES
WHEREAS, the Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964, Public Law 88-365,
as amended, requires the preparation of a wr1tten memorandum of understand1ng
between the admin1stration and recognized employee organizat1ons; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been reached between the administrat10n and
the Un1ted Transportat1on Union, Santa Mon1ca Local 1785, the Pub11c Employees
Union, a D1V1sion of Local 986, Internat10nal Brotherhood of Teamsters, and the
City Administrat1ve and Off1ce Associates/Municipal Employees Assoc1at1on.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Counc1l does hereby approve and rat1fy that memo-
randum of understanding executed by the City Manager and the representat1ves
of said employee organizations on the 4th day of February 1976.
SECTION 2. The C1ty Clerk shall cert1fy to the adoption of th1s
resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the same shall be 1n full force and
effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 10th day of February 1976.
