R-4722 ES:2/17/76:MBH:nk e e RESOLLlTION NO. 4722 (CCS) (CITY COUNCIL SERIES) RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA APPROVING THE FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR THE SECOND YEAR HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROPOSAL WHEREAS, it was necessary to prepare environmental assessments for the projects proposed in the Housing and Community Development Block Grant Appl Ica- tion; and WHEREAS, the environmental status of each project was determined and the applicable assessment prepared; and WHEREAS, publ ic notification was conducted in a manner providing citi- zens adequate opportunity to review and comment on the draft assessments; and WHEREAS, departments and agencies having special interest or jur;sdlc- tion over the projects reviewed the draft assessments; and WHEREAS, no comments or suggested revisions have been received to date; and WHEREAS, the following draft environmental assessments have been pre- pared for each new project contained in the 1976-77 Community Development applica- tion: I. A Notice of Finding of No Significant Effect on the Environment and a Negative Declaration for a Health Screening Clinic for the Elderly. This project consists of the continuance of effort of an ongoing activity. 2. A Notice of Finding of No Significant Effect on the Environment and a Class] Categorical Exemption for a Revolving Loan and Grant fund for Housing Rehab i1 i tat i on. 3. A Notice of Finding of No Significant Effect on the Environment and a Class I Categorical Exemption for Ramps for the Handicapped. 4. A Notice of Finding of No Significant Effect on the Environment and a Class I Categorical Exemption for Modification of Public Restrooms in City Hall for the Handicapped. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the Final Environmental Impact Assessments are completed in compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act, state and City guide- lines, and federal regulations. Section 2. That the City Council has reviewed and considered informa- tion contained in the Final Environmental Assessments. ES:2/17j76:MBH:nk e e Section 3. That the City Council determines that the project, the Housing and Community Development Block Grant Proposal, will not have a substan- tial adverse Impact on the environment. Section 4. That the City Council designates the City Manager as the authorized representative of the City of Santa Monica to act in connection with the application and to provide such additional information as may be required.
