RESOLUTION NO. 473S(CCS)
CONTRACT NO. 2234 (CCS) (CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH THE CALIFORNIA
STATE PERSONNEL BOARD, COOPERATIVE PERSONNEL
SERVICES, FOR THE PURPOSE OF PERFORMING
EXAMINING SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City has need for specialized personnel
selection tests; and
WHEREAS, in some cases economic factors support
contracting for examination services rather than developing
said examinations internally; and
WHEREAS, the Cooperative Personnel Services Division
of the California State Personnel Board can provide examination
services at a reasonable cost to the City.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the City Manager is authorized to
enter into and sign agreements with the State of California,
California State Personnel Board, Cooperative Personnel Services
Division, for the purpose of performing examining services for
the City of Santa Monica.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
