RESOLUTION NO. 4741 (CCS)
(CITY COUNCIL SERIES)
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SANTA MONICA REQ,UESTING THE BOARD
OF SUPERVISORS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY TO
APPROPRIATE CERTAIN GASOLINE TAX FUNDS TO
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA J CALIFORNIA (C-85).
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
WHEREAS) the 1976-1977 County Budget Appropriation
for "Aid to Cities" (Gasoline Tax) makes available for appro-
priation to the City of Santa Monica a total amount of the One
Hundred Twenty-two Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty-two Dollars
($122,932.00) for the Lmprovement of City Streets of General
County interest; and
WHEREAS) the City of Santa Monica is desirous of
improving certain streets on the City1s Select System; and
WHEREAS, the City of Santa Monica feels that improving
said streets is of general County interest.
NOW, THEREFORE J THE CITY COUNCIL DOES FURTHER RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the Board of Supervisors of Los
Angeles County be requested to allocate One Hundred Twenty-two
Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty-two Dollars ($122,932.00) from the
County "Aid to Cities" Fund apportioned to the City of Santa
Monica during the 1976-1977 fiscal year) for the purpose of
partially financing the widening of Clover Field Boulevard
between the Santa Monica Freeway and Broadway.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the
adoption of this resolution and thenceforth and thereafter the
same shall be in full force and effect.
SECTION 3. That the City Engineer shall forward a

certified copy of this resolution to the Los Angeles County
Road Commissioner for processing.
