A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA
AUTHORIZING THE HOLDING OF A
PARADE ON JUNE 19, 1976, ON A
ROUTE OTHER THAN THE OFFICIAL
CITY ROUTE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to ~4241 of the Santa Monlca
MunlClpa1 Code, the C~ty Councll may authorlze a parade
route d~fferent from the offlclal Clty parade route set
forth thereln; and,
WHEREAS, good cause has been shown for the auth-
orizatlon of such a parade route on June 19, 1976.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA ~10NlCA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That, on June 19, 1976, the Salvation
Army may, and 15 hereby authorized to conduct a parade along
the fo11ow~ng route:
From Santa Monlca H~gh School on
P~co Boulevard West to Barnard Way,
then South to Beach Park Number 1.
SECTION 2. The Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the
adoptlon of this resolut~on, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
