A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA AUTHORIZING
THE ESTABLISHHENT AND USE OF ONE OR
MORE DEPOSIT ACCOUNTS WITH CERTAIN
B~~KING INSTITUTIONS, AUTHORIZING A
FACSIMILE SIGNATURE BY ROBERT H. NASH
AND AUTHORIZING CERTAIN OFFICERS AND
EMPLOYEES TO ENTER SAFE DEPOSIT BOX
"B" AT THE UNITED CALIFORNIA BANK.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA MONICA DOES
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the C~ty of Santa Monica, a
munic~pal corporat~on, establ~shes ~n ~ts name one or more
deposit accounts wlth the Santa Monica Bank, the Bank of
Amerlca Natlonal Trust and Savings Assoc~at~on, the United
Californla Bank, the Secur~ty Paclflc Natlonal Bank, Clty
Natlonal Bank, Union Bank, the Chase Hanhattan Bank, New York,
New York, Crocker-Cltlzens Natlonal Bank, the Callfornla
F~rst Bank, Lloyd's Bank, Wells Fargo Bank, The Bank of
Callfornia, and the Ocean State Bank upon such terms and
condltlons as are provided by the Statutes of the State of
Ca11fornla governing public deposlts; and that Robert H. Nash,
Dlrector of Flnance-Clty Controller, and Kay Watanabe, City
Treasurer, be and they hereby are authorized by establ~shing
such accounts.
SECTION 2. That Robert H. Nash, Director of
Finance-C~ty Controller, and Kay Watanabe, City Treasurer,
be and they hereby are authorlzed to wlthdraw funds from sald
accounts upon warrants and/or checks slgned as provided hereln
with sigantures duly certlfied to said banks by the Clty Clerk

the payment of money, regardless of by whom or by what means
the actual or purported facslmile slgnature thereon may have
been afflxed therto, lf such facsimile signature resembles
the facsimile specimens from time to time flIed wlth said
banks by an offlcer of the Clty.
SECTION 6. That the City of Santa Monica, a
munlclpal corporation, has rented safe deposit box "B" at
the United Callfornia Bank, and that Robert H. Nash, Dir-
ector of Finance-City Controller or R.A. Wilson, Assistant
Dlrector of Flnance-Clty Controller, jointly with Kay
Watanabe, Clty Treasurer, or Vera Graves be and they are
hereby authorlzed to enter sald safe deposit box.
SECTION 7. Resolutlon No. 4421 (CCS) and all
other resolutions in conflict herewlth are hereby repealed.
SECTION S. Resolutlon No. 3671 (CCS) and all other
reso1utlons ln conflict herewlth are hereby repealed.
SECTION 9. Resolution No. 4420 (CCS) and all other
resolutlons ln conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 10. The Clty Clerk shall certlfy to the
adoptlon of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be in full force and effect.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 9th day of December
1975.
