THE COMPROMISE OF CLAIMS FOR THE
CITY'S PUBLIC LIABILITY - CHECKS

WHEREAS, on October 1, 1974, the City of Santa
Monlca entered lnto an agreement, belng Control No. 2138
(CCS) wlth the Bay Citles AdJustment Company to adJust:
(1) Llability under the Pub11C Llabillty Act of 1923:
(2) Its llabillty for the munlcipal bus Ilnes: and
(3) Its liablllty for its automotlve fleet excludlng lts
munlclpal bus 11nes: and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the authorlty contalned ln
