A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA
MONICA APPROVING THE BUDGET FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR 1976-1977, AS AMENDED.
WHEREAS, the proposed budget for the fiscal year
of 1976-1977 was submitted to the Clty Council thlrty-five
(35) days pr~or to July 1, 1976; and,
~~EREAS, the Clty Counc~l held a public hearlng
on sald budget after a not~ce of sa~d hear~ng was publ~shed
not less than ten (10) days prlor thereto; and,
WHEREAS, after said publlC hear~ng, the C~ty
COUDcll consldered further ltS proposed budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SANTA MONICA DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That the budget for the fiscal year
1976-1977 as submltted by the Clty Manager James D. Will~ams
and revised by the C~ty Counc~l wh~ch budget is ent~tled
"Annual Budget, City of Santa Monica, flscal year 1976-1977
subrn~tted by James D. Wi11~ams, C~ty Manager," a copy of
WhlCh budget ~s attached hereto, be and the same lS hereby
approved and adopted; prov~ded, however, that each depart-
mental budget lS hereby approved and adopted by the adopt~on
of the total departmental recapltulations which include
amounts for salarles and wages, supplles and expense and
cap~tal outlays.

SECTION 2. That a certlf~ed copy of sa~d budget
be flIed with the Director of Finance-C~ty Controller and
w~th the Clty Clerk and certlfled copies of sa~d budget be
reproduced and made available for use as directed by
~15Q5 of the Charter of sald Clty.
SECTION 3. The Clty Clerk shall certify to the
adoptlon of thlS resolution and thenceforth and thereafter
the same shall be ln full force and effect.
